SourceBots is a volunteer organisation which runs exciting robotics challenges for teams of young people. These open-ended challenges encourage participants to work together to solve problems as well as to manage their time and prioritise their efforts.

While based at the University of Southampton’s Department of Electronics and Computer Science and led by its students, SourceBots contributors include teachers and professional engineers.

“Noo Noo” from Collyer's College wins SourceBots 2018

SourceBots 2018 reached its exciting climax this weekend as the teams from across the south coast gathered at the University of Southampton for the competition event. The two-day event saw their fully autonomous robots compete in forty matches to determine which would be crowned champion in this year’s game Pirate Islands.
